Greetings

What's up yall another just finished up another week somehow and this was a very good week. To start it off our p day we went to top golf and it's safe to say that I still got it. We were then able to talk to a lot of nice people that night. My companion and I talked about having faith that we will find people and after that we were able to talk with so many people who were interested in church.

Because of this it became one of our best weeks. It's been really amazing seeing the fruits of our labor after what was a dry week the week before. Outside of finding we also had some great lessons. We met with Austin who had such an awesome testimony and he dang near brought me to tears. Can't wait to meet with him again. We also taught a woman named Honey who had not heard anything about our church but was once a devout catholic. We were pretty nervous about bringing up the Book of Mormon but as we were in the middle of introducing it she said how she needed it. That was way cool.

Super chill highlight
-Was able to drop 25 bucks for some golden carrel which was pretty mid actually
-We made the 5 hours worth of calls we make every week in some park which made it a lot more enjoyable
-I somehow talked to 2 homeless people about forza horizon this week
-The rain has been way fun this week
-Scattergories may tear our apartment apart but it has been really fun

This week we also had an exchange and this time I was with my fellow trainee Elder Whaley. With us both being trainees it had the possibility of being a rough day. Instead we had a great one with a lesson with our girl Tiffany. We planned out plan of salvation but she came in wanting to talk about baptism so we audibled to that. It went really well and this was probably my favorite lesson in the field. It was way cool having the freedom to run the lesson instead of having my trainer do it.

Spiritual thought- 2 Nephi 4: 17-18
Nevertheless, notwithstanding the great goodness of the Lord, in showing me his great and marvelous works, my heart exclaimeth: O wretched man that I am! Yea, my heart sorroweth because of my flesh; my soul grieveth because of mine iniquities.
I am encompassed about, because of the temptations and the sins which do so easily beset me.

This is Nephi who is one of the greatest characters in the Book of Mormon talking of how he feels inadequate. It's really easy in all areas of our lives to feel like we are not doing enough and keep falling short. God does see all your efforts he knows your struggles and your will to grow closer to him. Something I have been able to learn is how to respond to those shortcomings. Rather then dwelling on them just moving on and keep on trying and show that I am making that effort.

Love and miss all of you guys!
