MTC Part 2

 Hey everybody!

Finishing out my last day in the provo mtc and its for sure mixed emotions. Like I said in my last email I did get super lucky with my district we all got super tight over this last week and my companion is no longer a man of few words which has been so much better for companion studies and what not. My testimony has grown so much while here and I genuinely think i have learned more about the church in the last two weeks then I have I my life. It's gonna suck saying goodbye to everyone today but I'm craving a change of scenery so bad so the feelings are pretty mixed. Good luck to you boys who are here for 9 weeks.

We have had a pretty interesting week this week! Elder Bills (comp) wanted a haircut at the barber and I figured I would join him. Hearing the horror stories of how bad the barbers are I tried to stay as far away from the barber as possible but the lady somehow convinced me to get my ears cleaned up and it led to a full on haircut so now I have a pretty big bald spot by my ears. (Leroy come fade me) I also know mandarin Chinese a little bit so the gift of tongues is at work. Also your recieving an email from the kickball mvp so I am pretty proud of that. We killed our convert interviews, they are still actors but still great practice for the field. 

So yeah heading out to Richmond sweet Richmond tmrw and I am just not entirely sure what to expect but we are heading out anyways. Still need to pack up my bags which is gonna be so much fun. Then gonna wake up at 4:30 am for a layover in Atlanta but then I'll be in Richmond. (The lord sends his hardest battles to his toughest soldiers) But all jokes aside super excited to actually begin on missionary work and be able to make a difference.

  What's up everyone! Im writing this on my new android phone with really bad autocorrect so bear with me here.  5th day of provo MTC and I think I finally might be locked in on the missionary lifestyle. Being able to wake up at 6:30 every day has truly been a miracle. Bless up. I would seriously kill for a nap but I guess those aren't allowed around here. I got super lucky with my district we all get along pretty well. My companion Elder Bills is a dog. He has been telling me about his adventures in the harsh mountains of Idaho. He doesn't say much but when he does it's gospel. We had our first teaching appointment yesterday and even with practicing humility we killed it. Turns out the MTC teaching appointment are actors but hey a wins a win.  We have had some pretty spiritual classes and thanks to my teachers my testimony has grown so much over the last week. Providence Week 4

  Howdy yall it's been yet another week here in Providence and it seems to just be going faster and faster every week. This week was one of the more testing weeks on my mission. We didn't find a whole lot of people and with that there were quite a few bashers mixed in as well. It has honestly been a blessing in disguise though because every person who tries to bash us has been giving us new questions we have been able to take apart. Each one we were able to come up with a great response too.  It really has made me confident in our gospel.   This week me and Elder Ford were able to go on an exchange with our zone leaders who are way fun and are great examples of missionaries. They are also great teachers so it was way cool to see a great lesson up close and personal. I was with Elder Johnson and we were chopping it up about bball and he also has one of the best Peter Griffin impressions I have ever heard.  Also on Saturday we were able to visit the college campus...

Providence Week 3

  What's up everybody! Yet another great week here in Providence and it’s crazy to me that a week has passed since my last email. It's already starting to go so fast. This week started off with me and Elder Ford being solo since the other companionship in our apartment was on an exchange with another companionship. It felt really weird living with just one other person but elder Ford still made it fun. This week we also had our exchange but it was with the companionship in our apartment who we share the same area with which was probably one of my favorite days on the mission. The other companions are starting their own area as well so most of the people they teach are just people found on the street so me and Elder Sharp were just out finding all day.
