Providence Week 3
What's up everybody!
Yet another great week here in Providence and it’s crazy to me that a week has passed since my last email. It's already starting to go so fast. This week started off with me and Elder Ford being solo since the other companionship in our apartment was on an exchange with another companionship. It felt really weird living with just one other person but elder Ford still made it fun. This week we also had our exchange but it was with the companionship in our apartment who we share the same area with which was probably one of my favorite days on the mission. The other companions are starting their own area as well so most of the people they teach are just people found on the street so me and Elder Sharp were just out finding all day. We worked really well together and this was probably my most successful day on the mission after what was a somewhat dry week.
Highlights of da week
-Met Mrs. Utah and we made sure to invite her to church. She also made us get a picture with her.
-The weather has been perfect down here so biking around all day all of a sudden is not too bad
-We met a couple named Joseph and Dylina who met with missionaries in Colorado and have already been taught a bunch of stuff and are interested in baptism
-Establishing myself as the goat for monopoly
-Some guy was watching college football at a park and I watched the Utah game with him for a sec. Devon for Heisman
And yeah this week's been really great a lot of spiritual experiences. We had a great lesson with Amada who we invited to read the introduction to the Book of Mormon but instead she read all the way to 1 Nephi 11! Personal studies have been hitting hard lately. Also talking about the gospel with random people is also getting a lot easier. So yeah overall great week!
Spirit thought-
Alma 7:11-12
This is probably the most popular verse in the Book of Mormon and I have been sharing this verse for nearly every lesson so I figured I'd share it with y'all. Just know there is no place low enough to be outside the light of Christ.
#still blessed
