Howdy yall we are back after what was just a couple of days since temple p days and honestly not a whole lot has happened. 

This week we got transfer news and it turns out I am staying. The only person in our apartment who is leaving is Elder Sharp and he is such a dog so that will be a big hit. But other than that same comp Elder Rogers and Elder Whaley will also be a part of the apartment. Which will still be very fun. I was hoping to stay to see all of our friends' baptisms so that was definitely a prayer answered. 

Another thing that happened this week was me and Elder Whaley went on an exchange. We were just cruising around on bikes the whole day and had a very successful day. At some point some lady in a parking lot after having a normal conversation with her drove by and handed us a cd talking about the antichrist and asked if we can prayerfully consider the info in there. We lowkey can't watch it but someone reminded me at the end of my mission to watch it cause I told her I would. 

Another funny interaction was a man named Kevin who I had a great talk with about the temple and he just kept on bringing it back to how beautiful the dc temple was which was pretty valid. I told him that the only way he could get in was through baptism so he was very willing to meet with us. I didn't think much of the interaction and he said he was gonna come to church and as he did he showed up to church in an amazing dress and heels and was very sussy towards our amazing member Brother Mitchell. He got his number and was still being quite sussy so we are looking forward to an interesting lesson in a couple days. 

We also had the opportunity to meet Kevin this week who the first thing he said to me in the parking lot was that he has read and has a full testimony on the Book of Mormon. I talked to him more and the only reason he doesn't go to church is because he thought that you couldn't drink any soda to go to our church. After letting him know that's just not true he was pretty happy and after getting some things figured out he will probably get baptized. 

Our friends have been going through it this week so most of their lessons fell through so a lot of weird interactions in parking lots. Now that daylight savings is here, it is dark at 5 so I can't help but be a scary dude in a dark parking lot inviting people to church. Some people have been getting after me for that but hey I'm just doing as I'm told out here.

Moroni 7: 46- 47
46 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, if ye have not charity, ye are nothing, for charity never faileth. Wherefore, cleave unto charity, which is the greatest of all, for all things must fail—
 47 But charity is the pure love of Christ, and it endureth forever; and whoso is found possessed of it at the last day, it shall be well with him
Charity is awesome. I am sending this email 2 minutes after my p day ends so just interpret that for yourself I guess.

  What's up everyone! Im writing this on my new android phone with really bad autocorrect so bear with me here.  5th day of provo MTC and I think I finally might be locked in on the missionary lifestyle. Being able to wake up at 6:30 every day has truly been a miracle. Bless up. I would seriously kill for a nap but I guess those aren't allowed around here. I got super lucky with my district we all get along pretty well. My companion Elder Bills is a dog. He has been telling me about his adventures in the harsh mountains of Idaho. Providence Week 4

  Howdy yall it's been yet another week here in Providence and it seems to just be going faster and faster every week. This week was one of the more testing weeks on my mission. We didn't find a whole lot of people and with that there were quite a few bashers mixed in as well. It has honestly been a blessing in disguise though because every person who tries to bash us has been giving us new questions we have been able to take apart. Each one we were able to come up with a great response too.  It really has made me confident in our gospel.   This week me and Elder Ford were able to go on an exchange with our zone leaders who are way fun and are great examples of missionaries. They are also great teachers so it was way cool to see a great lesson up close and personal. I was with Elder Johnson and we were chopping it up about bball and he also has one of the best Peter Griffin impressions I have ever heard.  Also on Saturday we were able to visit the college campus...

Providence Week 3

  What's up everybody! Yet another great week here in Providence and it’s crazy to me that a week has passed since my last email. It's already starting to go so fast. This week started off with me and Elder Ford being solo since the other companionship in our apartment was on an exchange with another companionship. It felt really weird living with just one other person but elder Ford still made it fun. This week we also had our exchange but it was with the companionship in our apartment who we share the same area with which was probably one of my favorite days on the mission. The other companions are starting their own area as well so most of the people they teach are just people found on the street so me and Elder Sharp were just out finding all day.
