Whats up email! Hope everybody has been doing well! What another amazing couple weeks here in the best commonwealth in the world.
We have had some awesome baptisms in the last couple of weeks. Lemme give you a quick rundown on them-
First off our homie Rees. We were just chilling at church when Rees walked in after never having any contact from missionaries. Of course we swooped him up and we taught him there at church and set up a lesson with him later that week. After a spirit felt lesson we threw him on date for baptism and he was going strong. After a couple of weeks though we lost contact with him just out of the blue. But he remembered what he felt and he made his way back. We were able to be witnesses for his baptism in the first landing state park bay which was so chill! He is such a goat and is now a fellowship machine to all our friends at church.
We also had an awesome baptism with Quincy. He was just smooth sailing. We met him over the phone as a social media referral and invited him to watch general conference at our church but he had no ride. Quincy being the beast that he is just ubers over to the church watches general conference side by side with me and then we also throw him on date. We continued to meet with him and got him dunked!
Each of these people and their stories are so cool. God truly blessed us up to have them pull up its been a lot of fun in VB
Other than that not a whole lot has been going on. We had some goated lessons snd some great exchanges with a bunch of cool elders. We also were able to stay up in Richmond for two night for the temple and an exchange so that was way fun. All is well, God is good. AGTG Shoutout Whisp
Spiritual thought
Doctrine and Covenants 123:17
Therefore, dearly beloved brethren, let us cheerfully do all things that lie in our power; and then may we stand still, with the utmost assurance, to see the salvation of God, and for his arm to be revealed.
In this scripture our boy Joseph is going through the trenches. Getting absolutely smoked in liberty jail. He writes to the Saints explaining what they should do as their Prophet is locked up. I love this scripture so much because in this life so much is up to God and his plan. But at the end of the day all we can do is cheerfully do all things that lie in our power. Whatever you may be going through just go about doing all you can and God will provide!
Love and miss yall!
